Spring Festival of Flowers

Commencing on Saturday 31 August through to Monday 30 September, The Spring Festival of Flowers at Hunter Valley Gardens is an event designed to immerse visitors in a visual and sensory experience they will never forget.

This year, the Spring Festival of Flowers will have an Oriental twist. Visitors will get to see over 250,000 annuals, demonstrations, entertainment and displays that are on throughout the festival as well as listening to garden talks. This event provides a stunning view and hands on experience for all visitors.

Dog of the Day

Local Breeders of Oriental Dog Breeds such as Chinese Crested, Shar-Pei, Pekingese, Japanese Spitz, Chow Chow and Pugs, will be showcasing their dogs throughout the Festival.

Ukko Hot Tubs

Alex Radwill from Ukko Hot Tubs will be displaying Hot Tubs and conducting workshops on Hot Tub maintenance.

Ogishi Glass

Glass as Art. Setsuko Ogishi a local artisan will be displaying some of her award winning art pieces and discussing the world of Glass Blowing.

Tokyo Kimono Volunteers

A wonderful display of Kimono and a photo opportunity “Wear a Kimono” and help raise money for the Tokyo NGO Smile Tree.

Will Maguire

Artist Blacksmith contemporary metal work including Bonsai. Will’s work has tactile appeal, strength and unmatched uniqueness.

This popular event always generates loads of interest, the general public will again choose the best Wheelbarrow.

Florist’s Showcase Local florist’s will be exhibiting new and innovative arrangements with their interpretation of “Blossoms, the awakening of Spring” Participating Florists East Maitland Florist, Floral Affects & Event Hire, WOW Flowers & Beautiful Blooms Various days.

Oriental Quilts Local artisan Shirley Munro will be exhibition a number of Oriental quilts in the Entry Hall. Shirley will also be located in the Marquee working on new designs and to answer question.

Simple Floral Designs Will be displayed to inspire and encourage visitors in the art of floral arrangement.
