Bryan Adams at Bimbadgen Winery for a Day on the Green

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will perform at Bimbadgen Winery in the Hunter Valley in a day on the green performance on Saturday 12 March 2016 for the GET UP tour. Bryan will return to the a day on the green stage for the first time since 2005 with special guests Baby Animals and The Superjesus.

Canada’s most successful singer ever has been making musical history for more than three decades and has gathered more than 65 million album sales, 21 top ten hits and seven number one singles, topping the charts in more than 40 countries around the world in the process.

Adams releases his thirteenth studio album GET UP on 2 October (via Universal Music Australia). Produced with famed ELO frontman Jeff Lynne (The Beatles, Randy Newman, Tom Petty) and co-written with his long-time collaborator Jim Vallance, the release features nine brand new songs and four acoustic versions:

“There is a carefree feeling about this album, and in many ways it is the album I wish I’d been able to make 25 years ago.” Bryan Adams

The music video for lead single ‘Brand New Day’ was directed by Adams himself and stars much-loved actress Helena Bonham Carter and Theo Hutchcraft from the band Hurts.

Stellar support at the winery shows will be provided by Baby Animals and The Superjesus, fronted by two of the most charismatic women in Aussie rock in Suze DeMarchi and Sarah McLeod. After combining for the sold-out ‘She Who Rocks’ tour earlier this year, the bands are thrilled to be joining the tour.

Baby Animals have been warmly embraced since reuniting and releasing the ARIA Top 20 album ‘This Is Not The End’, their first new music since 1993. Singles ‘Email’ and ‘Stitch’ sit well next to fan favourites like ‘Early Warning’, ‘One Word’ and ‘Rush You’ in the set list.

The Superjesus are sounding better than ever with their new single ‘Setting Sun’, the band’s first release in 12 years. It maintains their signature sound with a thoroughly modern edge. Expect to hear ‘Gravity’, ‘Secret Agent Man’, ‘Shut My Eyes’ and ‘Down Again’ as The Superjesus make their a day on the green debut.
